I remember back when I was looking for parts for my 2014 RAM that Air Lift posted installation overview videos about their applications. Anyone serious about going this direction and going DIY should look for those videos first. Not all aftermarket parts makers go that far in educating owners.

Happy to see kits like this already hitting the market. The new Ram is already available with an air lift suspension, but I don't think its been as fine tuned for towing and hauling as these systems have.

The coolest thing about the factory air lift suspension is that it can be controlled completely by the key fob. Any idea if this system retains that capability?

I haven't seen any mention of that functionality, but the system will be adjustable I'm sure. It's a little odd that neither Ford or Chevy has shown an interest in air suspension.

Ford had an air suspension system for the Expedition and Navigator, but there were a lot of reported problems and issues with it. I think rather than further investing into it they decided it was safer just to remove it altogether.

There are pros and cons to these kinds of suspensions, and there are reasons behind why its become optional. Replacement will be more expensive but it should have greater longevity that a standard spring setup.

its similar to most other brands but I remember seeing this play out a lot in 90's and 00's Town Cars, some drivers using them as limo's would show up to clients with the rear sagging.

This technology was first seen more than a decade ago, so its suffice to say that it has improved in that time. It is a fairly costly upfront cost, but I don't think its necessary unless you plan on using your truck exclusively as a work horse.

the same can be said for a lot of very common and standard systems but time and again, manufacturing defects due happen for whatever reason; cost cutting, a new production process, the company that production was contracted to, the list goes on. so regardless of how good something should be, due diligence and just taking the risk is required.
